  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I read about a small boy who was consistently late coming home from school.
His parents warned him one day that he must be home on time that afternoon, but nevertheless he arrived later than ever.
His mother met him at the door and said nothing. At dinner that night, the boy looked at his plate. There was a slice of bread and a glass of water.
He looked at his father's full plate and then at his father, but his father remained silent. The boy was crushed.
The father waited for the full impact to sink in, then quietly took the boy's plate and placed it in front of himself.
He took his own plate of meat and potatoes, and put it in front of the boy,and smiled at his son.
When that boy grew to be a man, he said, "All my life Iv'e known what God is like by what my father did that night."

In this story there is a precious message here.

WOW! thats amazing, it puts a whole new light on what God really did for us, but god acctually did more, he DIED for us! aint that amazing, its somthing we should never forget! but its also something we cant easily take forgranted....which shows our sinful, self-centred nature
