All humans born after Adam and Eve are born without the life of God. If they never believe in Jesus, then they will remain without the life of God throughout all of eternity. So the only place for a person without God's life in them after they die will eventually be the lake of fire.

Let's not get too dogmatic on this... the unborn, children, those with a mental disability and those who are ignorant of Him but do His will, are not subject to this final judgment . Remember, our Father judges the purity of the heart. Additionally, one can believe in Jesus Christ of Nazareth but not do the Father's will and still end up in hell. Blessings

Matthew 7
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Why not. I never said an unborn child will go to the lake of fire. Jesus took away the sin of the world. So any person like a child who can not believe. Jesus has made a way, they are welcomed into the family of God.

But your verse in Matthew is not about people who have believed in Jesus for Eternal Life. As in the verse, Jesus states He never knew them. In other words they never believed in Jesus.

There is no final judgement for the believer in Jesus, by God to see if they were really a believer. All people at the very moment of belief in Jesus become a pernamnet born again child of God. They have crossed over from death to life and will not come into judgement.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

We either follow God's will (leadership, His Kingdom) or we follow the adversarial ways of man and the rebellious elohim. The latter brought death upon man. Hearing this truth from Jesus is one thing but as the verse says it goes higher "believes in Him", His will... not our own.

Yeah, too bad the churches no longer remind us of who we are for fear of losing customers

Very true. People need to be told that they are sinners because they DON'T know that. However, you can go overboard with this as well and make every single message a message about how we have all sinned, and sometimes, that is not the point of the passage in the Bible.

"Hear His words" key point here. It's those who hear and choose to not love Him, they shall come into judgement.

Love is not a condition> There will be many who believed in Jesus and fall away and even may be really mad at Jesus/God for something that has happened in their life. But because at some point in their life, they heard the Eternal Life giving message that belief in Jesus gives a person. They will never be judged to see if they believed in Jesus. They have already crossed over from death to life at the very moment they believed in Jesus.

Yes the old fire and brimstone nonsense. Comparing our will to the will of God and how our self serving will is behind all sin should be sufficient to show we have it backwards

Believing in Jesus is believing in the will of God, not in the will of man, something few do

You have a point. John 1:13 comes to mind, as do a few other passages, like John 6:29.

The question wasn't about salvation... The question was about the fact that even with Christ's blood shed on the cross etc., and various exceptions.... hell is still going to be stuffed full of souls for eternity... and god knew that when he created the world.

* That is the issue that I'm curious about.

A believer can only give an answer as to how far The Bible goes on a subject. Which The Bible does not say how many will end up in the lake of fire.

I think also when get closer to God and experience godliness through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the more painfully aware we are of our sinful nature.

Falling away is apostasy. Jesus Christ of Nazareth along with His Apostles and disciples warned about this. It is possible to once love Jesus Christ of Nazareth but then decide to reject Him for one reason or another. Don't be fooled into thinking that OSAS is truth. It is not.
Be blessed.

Obviously, he wasn't right.
Could you expand on why you say 'obviously'.. as it is not obvious to me.

Most adults in the world have heard of Christianity, indeed there are few places in the world where there aren't any active churches putting the message out there.
However, most of the adult world are not Christian, despite hearing the message.
Even many of the adults who are nominally Christian don't believe. It has been thus for many, many generations.
Those people are not saved...

Are you saying your Bible has nothing to say about what happens to those who are not saved?

No, I'm saying, very clearly, that Marquis de Sade was wrong.

From what we read in the Bible----with "reading" in the terms I'm implying indicating the importance of solid academic Hermeneutics and Biblical Exegesis----it was never God's intention for people to fall away En Masse from Him for eternity.

Also, it's not "MY" Bible. The Bible is a collection of ancient, FOREIGN writings (i.e. not American-Made) that I have decided to take seriously above and beyond other ideologies or religions.
