CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

no way, i think out of all the terrible bands that play warped i somewhat liked 2 or 3, not worth paying the money to see 2 or 3 bands. if you want a good punk show i suggest checking out the wasted fest.
a few bands that will be there: stockyard stoics, the krays, ny rel-x, dr know, defiance, DI, agent organge, the briefs, MDC, the weirdos, the dickies, the adicts, the exploited, sluaghter and the dogs, and none other then [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] SPARRER.

Everyone on this has said all this **** about only being a couple bands they liked there, but you all are forgetting that THEY MADE IT SO THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE ON PURPOSE.

Come on----what about Hawthorne Heights, Thrice, MXPX, Simple Plan (but I can see how you could think there Emo though I think they're good), Relient K, Atreyu, The Offspring, My Chemical Romance, Avenge Sevenfold, and a few other good ones. Wasn't Something Coporate there?

I apologize for making an attempt to debate on your level. It's tough on the lower-back for an older guy like me to stoop so low.
But, seriously, my thinly-veiled disparaging remark about "Corporate Poo", phrased in the form of a response to MoreInSorrow's opinions about the cookie-cutter-rubbish called the "Warped Tour" wasn't intended to be viewed as juvenile sarcasm.
When I said Corporate Poo, I meant exactly that: Corporate poo, created by Corporate record-execs, pushed by Corporate radio stations.

Anyway, "your" and "you're" are two separate words with two completely different meanings. You're 15! You should know that by now!

I would have liked to have seen The Offspring back in the day when I was more into the songs they were releasing. I don't care as much for their new stuff.
I saw a little bit of Hawthorne Heights a few months ago and it wasn't any better than hearing their song(s) on the radio.
MCR tries too hard at showmanship...wouldn't really want to see them.
I think Matchbook Romance played, who I've seen twice and wouldn't mind seeing if they'd play "If All Else Fails" (by far their best song) and "Tiger Lily".

Man, The Offspring need to call it a day.
I still can spin some of Ixnay On the Hombre, Smash, and even some Americana and enjoy it, but anything that came after that has been pretty bad. Dexter Holland should just stick to running Nitro Records and leave the ****** pop punk to the multitudes of whiny kids that grew up listening to him.
