Anyone going to the warped tour, im going to the on in Chicago on July 23rd, saturday and I cant wait! Has anyone else been or going to it? It would be cool to see if other people are goin.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I probably won't be going to warped tour when it comes though my town this friday though. Not worth it enough to call off work for it, altough I want to see Emery there since they missed Cornerstone.

The only two bands worth going to at lollapalooza are dashboard confessional and weezer. The others are pretty much a waste as compared to all the awesome indy bands like Mae! I've seen my chemical romance on taste of chaos and I cant wait to see them again. There are soo many bands I cant wait to see and I wont be able to sleep friday night because of it.

Me + Chris Carrabba = Love. This thread has officially been hijacked by a moony-eyed Dashboard fan. OK, hijacking over.
But anyways, my ex-boyfriend (who I'm still friends with) invited me to Warped Tour but the day before, we met up for lunch and he said some very rude things to me. So I told him that I wasn't going with him. He went alone and got a sunglasses-burn. Now if that isn't karma, I don't know what is.
I don't like huge concerts like that. I prefer small acoustic shows with 100 or fewer people. Or really intimate shows where you're right up close to the band. My cousin Marya lives in New York, and she saw Dashboard at CBGB's in 1999. She was right up close to them. She said it was amazing. That's what I like.

kinda like the unplugged of dashboards, i got that one this summer with the dvd! its pretty good. by the way, i leave for warped in chicago at the in the afternoon tommorow and i cant wait!
