These people who think the magical formula must work; how old are they? I used to believe in all kinds of fantasies too. I got put in my place when I realized that staying with my h was more harmful to my son than leaving. There are so many other factors like mental illness, anti-social personalities, and just plain disobedience and selfishness. Oh, and meanness. Of course if I had listened to my mom I never would've married my ex. She really was right.
And even though I made a really dumb choice the first time I have learned a lot with age, experience, and reading.
At the same time obviously some Christians are getting divorced for the wrong reasons, but it seems like the ones that take the whole process very slow are the very ones who should've gotten out sooner. But, careful is usually the way to go.
