Just a heads up to all, beware of christianchat.com they are a very anti-semetic group. Me along with others who are messianic who follow Torah have been banned for standing up for the truth of YAH's written word. If you ever go on their to share the truth, don't expect to be their very long. The administration is more anti-semetic than even the users on their. But they have no problem bashing and attacking you from every angle. Truly the love of Messiah does NOT exist their.

That was my experience when I lurked for a couple of weeks and watched the goings on. Their live chat isn't much better. You don't have to register to hear what goes on in that room when certain members are aboard. Very disappointing.

There live chat is even worse. I was attacked by about 3 people on their because I was quoting scripture about the feasts and I got banned.

Yeah, the so called leadership in there is to be desired. I don't have a problem with keeping things calm. But to not deal with everyone shows a great lack of spiritual maturity. They didn't even discuss with me, just booted me, but I'm liking this one alot better. They seem to allow everyone to share there thoughts and beliefs here alot better with out prejudice.

I admit I was initially concerned when I joined even this site, it wasn't until I hit the 15-post mark that I realised that there's a messianic forum. But I have faced a lot of anti-semitism in the church, and I've been messianic for 10 years. I think their take is that we're trying to put them under bondage but an actuality Yeshua was Jewish through and through and taught the Torah to His followers. I never really pushed the issue to mainstream Christians but I couldn't even use Yeshua's Name I had to go by His English Name Jesus. Even when I made myself clear that Yeshua and Jesus are in fact the same Person, they were absolutely CONVINCED that I wasn't saved and told me that my husband should put me in my place etc.

Thank you Roeh for the heads up, I was planning on sticking to what is on here. Even in the mainstream Christian section I found that believers here are quite tolerant and non-judgemental so I believe we are in the right place.

While this forum is not about Judaism, let's go out of our way to cut it a lot of slack. Messianic Judaism owes almost as much to Judaism as it does to Christianity. Isn't that why we call it Messianic JUDAISM?
