If this ad had been shown, do you really think anyone would have complained? Maybe like a few people/groups, but I figured most people wouldn't care. I do think it's a bit unfair for them to change laws so quickly that something that had already gone through red tape is now suddenly "potentially offensive". It just seems like political correctness, and in my experience atheists aren't all behind that concept.

Those who own the theaters don't control the adverts, the advertising agency does. It's the policy of the advertising agency not to show political/religious adverts, not those who own the theaters.

It's fact that the patrons will see it as they approve of what is shown there and react accordingly. How else does overly sensitive people react? This is not a legal argument but one of human nature and in today's world logic has very little to do with peoples thinking.

My friend this is the age of the ideologue. We can disagree with them all we want but we have to acknowledge their existence and the power of social media. They've got people fired from their jobs. they can easily get people to boycott a theater system.

If you want products with the Lord's Prayer on them, go to a Christin bookshop. I'm not sure why you'd expect to find it on something from anywhere else.
