Paul taught us by example. He never needed a military because his prayers protected him. He was delivered many times from the enemy. Why should we not follow him? Same way with the Lord, he bore our cross, and instructs us to do likewise.

You might think im talking about anarchy, but im not. You may think im anti military, but im not. Im against war, and think the church should be praying, not promoting the death of our enemies, but praying for their repentance.

My faith allows me to see the military as Gods tool. My job is to pray, not fight wars. God will fight for us.

Paul was not the Roman government and neither are you a government. Apples and oranges.

Just because you vote for someone doesn't mean you are responsible for all their actions other than those they said they would do that you had prior knowledge of beforehand.

That logic is amazingly lacking is substance.

I would disagree completely. Whether or not a person does what they said they would or not does not make you innocent if they use their power to harm or in this case kill people. For you are certainly responsible because without your vote they couldn't do anything. You may not have pulled the trigger but you most certainly put the gun in the killers hands.

America voted for a person they knew had character issues(Whats in a mans heart comes out through his mouth and we all heard the horrid things Trump has said countless times, people just didn't care and now they complain because they voted for a mad man, a wreckless man, an esau so to speak, and they don't want to take responsibility for him killing people? Hes killing people because you who voted for him put him in a position to do so.) Anyone who voted for trump because they thought he was an honest man, who would stick to his word, is not living in reality, people don't become billionaires by being honest.

If you voted for Trump because you were sick of the typical boring politician who plays by the rules, then you got your man. Trump makes up things as he goes, he doesn't even know about the rules, and constantly bent them all throughout his whole life. The last thing I would ever want to hear is someone who voted for trump not taking responsibility for his actions because he broke his promises when his character was always a red flag. People with character problems break promises what else did people really expect, whoever bought what he was selling was not wise is all I can say. If you voted for trump and take responsibility for your vote then I have no issue with that, but to not take responsibility is absurd.

So if I vote for a president and senators who approve a SCOTUS judge that ends upholding abortion, am I also responsible for killing all those babies?

Or if I vote for a school board member to hires a principal, who hires a teacher that gives homework to their class, then I suppose I'm responsible for assigning homework to those children?

Maybe if I sell a car to someone who drives drunk a year later and kills someone, I'm responsible for that death as well.

What if I buy food from a restaurant that helps them remain in business long enough to sell a cheeseburger to someone that dies from a heart attack an hour later. Guess I'm responsible for that as well.

Exactly at what point does personal responsibility come into play here. It's stupid to even imply someone else is responsible for the independent actions of another.

I'd like to see some scripture for that in the eyes of God.

You put him in office, you are responsible for whatever he does whether good or bad. To deny that is clearly being just as dishonest as the person you voted for.

They had Gods power on their side. You say thats sad? Its better to fight in wars?

Yes it seams sad to me. They had God among them to teach and heal and raise them from the dead in a time when they had limited medicines and because they killed God the people suffered the more for it, for all the people he could have healed. Don't get me wrong, I believe he still heals and makes alive and resurrects and raises people to heaven and needed to provide a sacrifice. And the Apostles that were killed could have remained alive and taught so much to the people of what God was teaching to them, to convey God to the people, and we have limited scriptures from them perhaps because of it.

Maybe if they had freedom of religion things might have been different, but history is what it is and the sacrifice provided for a reason. I believe as a child of the spirit of truth I have to consider these things. So that I don't make the mistakes that the lessons of history have provided painfully for us.

I guess I'm happy for God and the Apostles that they had God on their side. And said for the people under the dominion that they were under, oppressed from the Good Doctor and the teachings of Christianity. Does that make sense?

He is saying that it is sad that they do not have the freedom to worship without having to fear the government in body. It is sad that if they go to church the government may kill them. The government may take their property for no other reason than the fact they are a Christian.
Still, paul says our weapons are not carnal. Our weapons are the armor of God. Prayer is among them.

And God knows God's way of deliverance, or of endurance,
and shows all through the NEW TESTAMENT/ HIS WORD/ the training of those who endured all manner of hardship for the GOSPEL,
without claiming anything nor trying to protect things, for themselves, not even their own lives.

Listen, paul said we do not war in the flesh. If anyone needed to war in the flesh it was them, but they did not. They could have, but didnt. You are playing with hypotheticals, and your conclusions are wrong. We dont war in the flesh, our weapons are not carnal. Thats sound doctrine. Takje it, or leave it. We all must make our own decisions.

Yes, they displayed real faith in God.

Oh, I see. Makes perfect sense.

If I vote for Joe Blow for the city council, and Joe puts on his shoes, makes a sandwich, and fills up his gas tank, then I'm responsible for all that, since all his actions are now my responsibility.

I hope you are prepared to stand before God to give a response for every action of everyone you've ever voted for had done over your entire life.

You are responsible for whatever that person you voted for does in regards to the powers he gains through your vote. But you are clearly deflecting because even you know you are wrong here.

Not deflecting, but demonstrating absurdity.

Your point is utterly absurd, I'm simply expanding on it.

You are not responsible for everything politicians do, only the stuff you support. Christians should be the ones who dont go to war. We should pray and let God fight the wars.

Someone mentioned that Jesus took a whip after those folks who turned Gods house of prayer into a den of thieves. I say throw out the warmongers, and pray for peace. Sure force will be needed for peace, but God will be our strength and shield, and our force. We must pray, not get entangled into war. Will be boast of Gods help with our finances and health, but not our protection too? Is our faith where it should be?

The argument I am making is you are responsible for the actions(only actions he can do as the result of your vote not things completely unrelated to your vote like your example of joe blow) of the person you put into power because without your vote and the others with you, this person could not do what hes doing. You have tried to wiggle your way out of any responsibility for your vote, by arguing against things I am not arguing for. It's clear what I am saying you are responsible for. But you are arguing against something I'm not arguing for a clear fallacy on your part.

No, because just because you put someone in office does not mean that you agree with his or her every decision once he or she is in.

I dont vote anymore. I see it as a sham. Politicians say whatever will get them elected. I dont feel like i want to drop bombs on anyone either. I should instead pray for peace.
