So i recently started attending a rather large united Methodist church in my area, and I like it a lot so far and the pastor seems chill.
I have never been baptized my parents are not religious, rest of family are devout Jehovah's witnesses they would be super mad if they found I was attending churches that believe in the Trinity (it's a weird religion). Anyway I go there by myself but I'm hoping to get involved in a bible study group to make some christian friends. I've only been twice and I haven't gotten the courage to ask the pastor about baptizing me, should I email him or something like that and ask? I have a fearful thing about commitment. I'm just scared I'll eventually stop going and I wanna be dedicated and get involved in the church. I'm embarrassed that I'm 20 and everyone has been baptized as a infant and I'll be the only one doing it at a old age. Should I share my concerns with the pastor? Does the Methodist church usually do pouring or immersion?
