It WAS NOT STRIDER. Sorry for the intensity, that was actually a cool guy who left, and I don't want to have his reputation ruined by a false rumor. The username of the guy was Stravinsk.

Wow, this is subtlety if I have ever seen it. If you are going to implicate someone as someone else, just come out and say it, and present your evidence. What does having someone's "card marked" mean? Sounds terribly threatening. I had a look over the list of members that came up on a search of STR and there are plenty. How, uh, "brave" of you to implicate all of them.

The poster's name is Stravinsk, it happened in the summer of 2013. The poster made a YouTube video that mentioned private information about several female members on CF that were not shared with him directly or indirectly, and then sent it to them. This was the final straw that lead to an exodus of CF Singles in late June/early July of 2013. Also, feel free to scroll back and take a look at the difference in the number of replies in your average thread from May 2013 to August 2013.

The post you quoted seems to be out of any kind of specific context you refer to and therefore I'm led to believe it is reaching insofar as that context is concerned.

In any case, I think my post stands as it is, for both your post and the original one I quoted above with relation to making an unsubstantiated accusation.

And seeing a video you can immediately determine it's author or creator? Was the channel it was hosted on a known one of Stravinsk's? Is your claim anything more than heresay, or is there solid proof of what you say?

Yes. The private video was delivered through PM via Stravinsk. The only other viable theory was that some lurker made the video, hacked into Stravinsk's account, and sent the video. The women had no connection other than CF.

It seems to me it would be an easy thing to prove by forwarding them on to staff. Was Stravinsk's account hacked? Did someone not using his IP and browser data gain access to it? These things can easily be determined by IT staff on forums such as this.

It was either from the woman directly or her best friend, it was two years ago.

It seems to me it would be an easy thing to prove by forwarding them on to staff. Was Stravinsk's account hacked? Did someone not using his IP and browser data gain access to it? These things can easily be determined by IT staff on forums such as this.

CF did investigate and he was subsequently banned for this and other reasons. The banned was overturned via his appeal in November 2014.

Oh there was someone who made a creepy profile here for fun and just watched everyone's profile, but he never said anything so I decided to make a sock account and stalk him back until I thought I was being childish and then I removed it.

Nope. BookWornWorm and CFLurker did just that. Lurk. CFLurker mainly lurked in the forums, while BookWornWorm visited profiles.

It sounded more like someone who was just making a joke. He had something in his profile that he liked to watch profiles, but he didn't post. So every time you saw last 10 who watched and his name also and then you click on it and could read his profile.
Lol he changed the text later and said that he had nothing to do with my account. Oh yes it said: silent guy, scary guy or something, so I said I like silent guys. Hahahahaha he removed it later.
