and you say this based on your dozens to hundreds of hours of research?

It's on the person making the claim to prove it. It's impossible to prove a negative. I can't be the first atheist to tell you this.

If someone wants to claim the legal system is racist....they need to prove it. When I say there's no reason to assume it...I mean there's no logical or rational reason to assume it.

Is there something specific in that report you wanted me to address?

When you said "legal system" I thought you were referring to laws and perhaps lawyers specifically. I didn't think your claim was about the entire justic system. There's a lot wrong in the report, but there's not much point in addressing it if it doesn't have anything to do with your claim.

In regards to the law....it refreshing to see that even though the report is highly biased, it couldn't find any racist laws and admitted that most of the causes of the racial disparities in prison populations were due to poverty, not racism.

he said:
We need to stop giving ignorance attention and stop giving confidence to people preaching hate. Ultimately the damaging aspects of racism are not what people say but how it affects one’s livelihood or safety. I am going to stop calling you a white man and I’m going to ask you to stop calling me a black man.
– Morgan Freeman

and i liked that just fine.

If you liked the message, then why the objection and or accusation to my posting it?

I'm not entirely convinced that it's just a "Democrat" thing, but Candace here has a lot of interesting things to say on this topic from a conservative point of view.

Are certain types of black people and black points-of-view being "cancelled" I wonder?

"I will not pretend to be a victim in this country; I know that that makes many people on the left uncomfortable. I want to talk about real issues in black America. I want to talk about real issues in this country and real concerns. The biggest scandal...in American politics is that Democrats have been conning minorities into belief that we are perpetual victims all but ensuring our failure."

I'm guessing she said this after she filed a lawsuit against the city of Stamford, Connecticut because she was a victim of discrimination. And definitely after she sued her high school for failing to protect her against discrimination

Your evidence that there's racism in school is that black kids get disproportionately suspended. Something we would expect if they disproportionately break the rules.

Your evidence that there's racism in the justice system? Black people are disproportionately locked up...something we would expect if they are disproportionately breaking laws.

And I don't see any issues with her doing so if that's what she did. Discrimination and racism does happen and there is nothing wrong with appropriately addressing it when it does happen. There is a difference between an individual lawsuit against *a* city or against *a* school for some wrong, and the idea that *every* local system of government and *every* school are racist and need to be brought down because they systemically promote perpetual and inherent white oppression just by existing.
