Walking with God-What does it look like?

Hi CindyisHis,

That was a great post! You were very specific; just what I was looking for. So, to get this straight, you are said, “they see Jesus (which points to the Father). You would be in communication with the Father, prayer and seeking His will. You would speak the truth, teach others, find our niche in God’s plan and do it, follow the prompting of the Holy Spirit, understand our position amongst God’s people, “We walk in love, free of strife and contentions,” build each other up, and help each other. Great thoughts. I’ll be asking more specifics as we go along. CindyisHis, thank you for the excellent post!

Yeah, what you said! That's what we all want to look like. I so want to, and I'm getting there. I am so desiring to see His glory manifest in the earth, in my corner of the world, and through me. I have to ask, what price am I willing to pay to be a conduit of the Holy Spirit? How much will I yield? How dedicated to see the things the Father desires come to pass?

I think it's like this. Women are "supposedly" known for their many words. Men say few. That, of course is a generalization.

Now that we have established that there are some behaviors that assist us in walking closely with God, I'm wondering how much is dependant on our motives/attitudes/behaviors/etc. that actually contribute to our walk with God? Do we actual play a part or is it only the Holy Spirit in our lives? Any ideas would be welcome.

Phil. 2:12,13 > ....work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which works in you, both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

I believe there is a "God" part and a "man" part. I do not believe He will do it all for us, nor do I believe we can do anything without Him.

I haven't the time to expound on this at the momment. But that's my two cents worth.
