2 Corinthians 6:1-2
Because Jesus went to the cross, now is the day of salvation, deliverance.
Verse 7
When we make godly choices for righteousness, it acts as an armour against the enemies attack. The choosing of righteousness acts as our protection. God will help us only when we choose righteousness. Is a protection against the work of the enemy against us.
We are workers with the Lord, we cooperate with the Lord. God desires partnership with us. God will not do our part and we cannot do His part. God will not choose righteousness for us, He will not violate our free will. We must make quality decision to deny sin. Alot of people are waiting for God to deliver them without saying no to sin. But God is waiting for us to deny our sin. Nothing substitute from the choosing of righteousness. There is alot of false teaching about grace that makes people comfortable while they are sinning. False teaching on grace minimise the need for repentance.
Through internet, immoralty will reach beyond anything we imagine. There are going to be many people involved in this, the number is going to be astounding leading to Jesus' return. Peter say to abstain from these lust because it war against our heart. Lust can also be anger, pride not just immoralty. Choose righteousness and say no to sexual immorality. If anyone loves Jesus will keep His commandment.
We have to love God on God's terms not in our own ways. We speak God's word to the enemy when our heart is tempted. Deny lust, whether is anger or immorality. If we deny it, God will take it as love. Each one of us have different calling and assignment, is unique from the person next to you. That is the assignment He asked us to love Him in, to overcome and love Him.
Obedience begins not with full victory, is not only real when the victory is full. Obedience is real when we set our heart to obey long before we achieve victory. God have pleasure in us while we were growing in our character. The enemy will tell us to quit and those that don't understand God's heart will buy in to it. The setting of the heart of righteousness is where the victory begins. I want victory in every area of my life because is my expression of love towards God.
James 1:12
Crown of life is a promise for people who love Him. Is not the promise of eternal life, but it is a promise of leadership in the age to come. A crown is a distinguishing reality of those in governmental leadership. The crown of life is promise to those that have endured temptation. It requires endurance to obey God. In the fire of temptation, I want to choose to obey God.
1 Thessalonians 4:3
Even though the temptation is strong, we choose against it. In everything that God commands us to do, if we choose to obey it, God will empower and help us in this. If one of us should learn how to carry our personhood in the face of temptation. You want to be a student of how you work and how you feel (possess his own vessel). Look for contributing factor, how our personhood works.
By knowing what personality makes you sin, example fartigue that makes us go to desperate mood. By watching wrong movie, listen wrong music might make us fall into immorality. Look at how our bodies work. If we feel tempted, go to a trusted mentor. Lean how to posses your body in honour. Don't do the same thing over and over again hoping to posses a different result.
Matthew 5:28-29
The progression of adultery begins at the eye, then it grows to heart adultery. We stare and it will grow, then the fantasy lock in and they start to commit physical adultery. People commit physical adultery because it starts from the eye, it don't just suddenly happen.
Job 31:1
Make a covenant with your eye to not give in to these things. Is wiser to shut the eyegate towards immorality by turning our eyes away then trying to do something when things happen. If we don't make a covenant with our eyes, is far more destructive at the end. We need to completely abstain from this. Make a decision to never watch internet inappropriate contentography, never once do that, not even a glimpse. Don't even do it. The definition of temptation is option, is not even an option, it should'nt be on our mind to watch thses this in the tv or internet. If we fail, renew the covenant with our eye day by day, everyone.

We want to be men and women to be like David to be after God's heart. We want to walk wisely even in the privacy of our home.
