You know,

It's a pretty song. It really is. I'm not a big fan of Rebecca St. James or anything but it's an okay song. But the thing is, I can't stand the lyrics.

The singer seems to be focusing on how God will provide for her and not focusing on God's provision in the present. It almost seems ungrateful. "God, you're not really providing for me now but I know you will in the future". That's just how I see it I suppose.

She obvioiusly hasn't been provided for in the form of a husband though which is what the song is about. She isn't married so how could he have? I'm sure she is greatful for how he provides in many other areas of her life. Listen to the rest of her music. I think it speaks to that. I think this song is just about her being faithful and pateint for the man that she KNOWS God will bring her. That's my take anyways. You could be right though. I've never met her.... yet.....

Oh Lord I'm waiting for Rebeca St James :prayer: lol
I'm more of a Jenifer knapp kinda guy acutaly ;)

I love the song! I recommend hearing her sing it. Rebecca St. James is one of my favorite singers:)
I kind of would not recomend waiting to hear her sing it live though. Unlike most artists her live performances are pretty much like listening to a mix from her regular recordings with little stories mixed in explaining some of the songs. Otherwise she is a real good artist and I do like her music.
