Anyone use one on their computer? I'm a traditional artist but would like to give a stylus a try. I do photo retouching to illustration on my computer with a regular mouse but thought a stylus would make a nice Christmas present. Not to replace traditional art - but to add digital medium to the mix.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have a Wacom Graphire II...I love it. It's easy to work with, it's pressure sensitive, and it makes detailing so much easier. I use it for drawing mostly, but it's great for Photoshopping, too. It was fairly cheap...only around $100...I've had it for 2 years or so, so the price may have dropped by now.

Thanks! I found a Graphire III for $79.00. I'll have to wait until Christmas to open my "suprise" gift. I can't wait to try it out.
