IIRC the CEO of Nelson is Orthodox.
I don't care for the byline, it seems to betray a mission of toning down Orthodoxy for the modern world. Some evidence of this was possibly seen in the NT version. When I see commentary in the OT pointing to the Ever Virginity of the Theotokos (as is read on her Feast days) and her being the Ark of the NC, I'll feel better.

Most traditional-looking, to my eye. Most reminiscent of the Gospels we use in liturgy. The others are a bit too up-tempo, snazzy, and modern for my liking. The Bible isn't "cool" or dated. It is dateless, and as such, I would prefer a cover that is dateless, or as undated as possible.

Um...isn't it against the canons to bind the Gospels in the skins of dead animals? Correct me if I'm wrong...this was mentioned...somewhere in the past...by...someone...as a criticism of the leatherbound versions of the NT/Psalms (I know, I know, lots of help...)
