  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

You are in my prayers tonight, brother. I pray that you may discern God's will. It is hard to deal with the world. Our Lord told us we would be persecuted, but we must take up our crosses on follow Him. The Lord will give you strength to do this, He will never give you a situation that you can't handle with his grace!

Oh I feel your pain! I so wanted to be a Sister. Never let people try and talk you out of what is truly in your heart. Definately speak to your spiritual director about the things on your mind. Your director can help.

As for me, it seems to me our Lord had other plans though sometimes I miss certain parts of my journey. I was due to go January the year before last. Things happened but, some time passed and eventually I found out my calling was not at all what I thought. I met a man, a gentleman, sincere and kind. We were together for several months and happy in the relationship. Lets just say he needed somone to help him through a rough time. We are together still. He needed someone. He needed support. My brother we found out would need a kidney. I gave him a kidney. Me it seems He needed else were. The Lord places us were He wants us. I finally opened up to this. As for you, your story is different. Let nothing come between you and God's will. I know you can do it. I know how difficult the discerning process is but, then what worth doing is easy? He is with you and will help you along your journey. He lights a holy fire in you when He calls you, a flame that may at times seem dim but, in time will be brighter than the sun. Open your heart and say to Him "Your will be done". Offer up your trials as well. I hope I helped... even just a little
God bless
