I can't say that I am disappointed with the outcome (since I did not have a dog in the race) because I saw a lot of unsportsmanlike conduuct from France. Elbows and high kicks, and the head butt that ended the career of Zidane about an hour sooner than he'd planned. Good riddance!

Go, Italy!! I'm glad they won!! From what I hear, they were the better team while some considered France the sentimental favorite.
