We moved here a couple months ago and had to leave our home church. We were so sad to leave! We had been attending a nondenominational church and loved the way it was community oriented. The focus was on growing spiritually and learning how to share the love of Christ with the world and be welcoming to the community without compromising godly living.
We have 3 churches in mind that we really liked. I enjoyed the Methodist church and the Baptist church as a mom because he went into the nursery so easily... no tears! But that is not the reason for the church. All three churches (the Methodist, Baptist, and Nazarene) were attractive to me because they are not just feel good sermons. They are about learning the truth of the Bible, applying that truth, and sharing that truth. It will be a hard decision to make. They are far apart from each other, but distance will not have anything to do with it at this point because we are not in a permanent living situation yet.
