  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

It's been 3 times now that I've heard other Christians mention having a vision, and I'm unsure what to think of this. I know that God does give visions to people, I believe even unbelievers as a means of bringing them to Christ. But these 3 occasions seem different to me. All of these brothers have said that they had or have a vision, and it always has money involved or some kind of earthly success. Personally I don't trust this method of Christian growth and believe this to be some kind of new age false teaching that is floating around but I can't find anything that fits it on the web. Has anyone heard of this? Before I was a believer I heard about this all the time but it had to do with things like the "Law of Attraction".

Firstly, it would be rare to receive visions today. Secondly, if indeed they were from God, they would pertain to the Kingdom of God. The best course of action is not to dispute the vision, but at the same time let the visionary know that it would be beneficial if he would keep that to himself.
