Visions and Miracles!

We own a field in North Wales, UK where in 1997 visions of the Virgin Mary were reported by an Irish couple on a walking tour of our part of Wales. They claimed that they had been cured of their ailments!

By June of 1997 our narrow country lane resembled a mini Lourdes, with 'pilgrims' coming to visit our field. Others 'visions' and 'cures' were also reported.

I am an old sceptic where this sort of thing is concerned, but I saw a figure that looked like the picture book version of the BVM, and my frozen shoulder, which defied medical aid, was 'cured' within five minutes of standing at the field gate! I am of the opinion that the figure I saw was my brain seeing want it wanted to see, and my body's own healing mechanism kicked in, in response to the vibes from the field!

The field has been visited by Americans who also claim to have been cured! In fact a visit wasn't necessary in one case. An American cyber-pal was suffering from a devastating stroke. I sent her a get well card with a picture of our field on the front, she firmly believes that the picture of the field helped her to completely recover!

I make no claims for our field, it would be wrong to do so, just as it would be wrong to make money out of it. If people feel ther would benefit from standing at the gate they are more than welcome to do so, providing they don't disturb our neighbours, who live next door to the field.

South of Adelaide, South Australia we had one which appeared on a rising damp blotch on a wall in a Church. Rev Nutter was the Anglican Priest who mad a good tourist attraction, for awhile!

I wish our rising damp was caused by a 'miracle' unfortunately we have a water leak!

Just take some digital photos, make some changes / additions and send it off to the local press. Soon people will be coming round seeing all types of images. they will pay big money for this. Some will even get healed !

My dear Mark, you forget I also live in a haunted house where we get genuine images, crosses and writing on the walls, which come and go. My husband a scientist, atheist, and a sceptic of the James Randi sort, actually saw writing appearing a few weeks ago!

There's another in England who lives in a "haunted house". Must be a bit scarry! I don't think I would like that!

I say pave half the field, make a parking lot of it, charge $5 parking, then $5 entry fee to get on the field, and then go buy you a big screen TV, or one of them clothes cleaning machines with the water spinner. (I still use a washboard)

I know you are joking, but we have been urged to make money out of the field many times, but refuse to consider such an idea, which we think would be wrong!

I live in Malaysia. Over here the local dieties can do all kinds of miracle to attract worshipers. It's a kind of evil spiritual process, and the man can talk in human language, and even healing sicknesses.

I doubt if God will give signs and miracles. Satan definitely will, but God?.... just my opinion.

I think as long as perople feel they are benefitting, it really doesn't matter what the origin of this sort of thing is!
