  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Just a question: is it possible to be/ become a virtuous woman ( or have virtue restored) after living a worldly lifestyle?
It is possible, as many prostitutes have turned away from that lifestyle, and have become Christians. Now, this is an extreme case, but shows how people living the most worldly lifestyles can make a 180 degree change, and turn to serving Christ.

Yes ! ! !

But Jesus can do better than just to stop a women's immoral behavior.

Jesus gives you a new beginning, and you discover how to love as family with others who have trusted in Jesus.

God has invested His own Son in this; so He is committed to having you succeed if you trust in Jesus.

We all have impossible things to deal with, but also and better, we have Jesus who can deal with any impossible thing, and His grace makes us able to help one another.

So, if a person stays in isolation, nothing can really work to make someone virtuous. But with God and His people we have God's grace sharing His ability with us, plus we have one another as family to share with us and help us.
