U sound mad im not trying to be mean or anger you. Im just saying my opinion. Well the worst that could happen is that it isn't true and i waisted my life.

Hey... I'm not mad.
Sorry if I came across that way.

OK. And the best thing that could happen.....if it is all true (about God)?

Ooh... let me answer for you !!!!

1. A new life in Christ Jesus.
2. A real purpose for living.
3. The promised Holy Spirit comes to live in you.
4. Claim all of the promises that God makes to those who belong to Him.
5. Hope for the future.
6. Eternal life.... forever & ever & ever !
7. Fellowship with the Living God.

.....and the list goes on and on !

It's just way cool !!!!!
Nothing like it..... anywhere !

Im unsure i guess i would be satisfied with nothing, I mean eternity of anything seems dull.

So, if your "belief" is right, then nothing happens after you die. You just close your eyes and it is over.

If Chrisitianity is right, (in your current unsaved state) then you will spend eternity in hell, separated from God.

Does that not make you want to investigate further.... (and I do think that you are already doing this) to see if there isn't real Truth in this Christianity thing?

well i am because i cant believe in him i think. seems like it makes the most sense to me

If you don't believe in Him then why do you believe you are going to hell?

If you believe in hell then you have to believe in Heaven and if that is true then it is not that much of a stretch to believe in God.

well i just want to know 100% sure what happens

We will never be 100% sure in this lifetime that is why we have faith. Even though we don't know everything about God, we do know that thru our faith in Jesus Christ we will know one day 100% that God is real and that he loves us.

this may sound wierd but i keep thinking he broke his own commandment. when he flooded the world he killed everyone then turned around and said ok don't kill.
That's valid.

But it's not just that people turned their backs on Him. When people do evil things, they are stealing from each other, lying in court, lying in business dealings, sacrificing other people to statues, and being abusive without regret.

Ex 20:13 You shall not murder.

Some of the definitions of this word are assasinate, premeditate killing, and avenge.

It seems that you have a twinge of a belief in God, but don't feel comfortable with who you see Him to be. Feel free to talk with Him about that. There are nor Biblical rules about what you can't pray, just suggestions for what you can pray (Lord's prayer, etc.).

If you see there's a chance that He exists, then it is Him you need to deal with -- not human rules, or religious choices, or viewpoints and theologies.

He offers a way to live eternally, without pain and suffering. The path is so much simpler than anything we would have come up with.

We humans tend to make up methods for main attaining because of deserving, and shut out people who aren't smart enough, or didn't work hard enough, or don't have the resources... but God placed the work on His side of the deal, and let us have the easy process.

That is who He is.

His property is always to have mercy. He gives people plenty of chances, and then gives them more.

I hope so
You're here trying to figure it out, so just keep looking and it'll come. But don't take our word for it, we're just people like you, Like heron said, don't be afraid to pray. You believe God exists, so just talk to Him. He's all-powerful, after all, so He definitely has the power to teach you what you need to know, in His own perfect time. If you open yourself up to listen to Him in all the ways He speaks, He'll bring you to the point where you are 100% sure, if that's what He it takes to bring you to Himself. But you have to open up to Him and listen and pray, acknowledge Him along with believing in Him. It takes faith, but it will happen.

Dear Friend:

I read your opening post and would like to respond to it. I have read most of the others replies and will try not to repeat what already has been said. I think you are almost right on when you said, “Seems to me like heaven is a V.I.P. only club. Only Christians get in”. Your almost right, but it could be said better this way:
“Seems to me like heaven is a F.A.M.I.L.Y. only place. Only Relatives get in.”

For those who understand the true teachings of Christianity, and not all who call themselves Christians do: Christianity is NOT A RELIGION, it’s a RELATIONSHIP with GOD.

Actually, a FAMILY relationship. When we were born, we were born into a human family. We have a family relationship with father, mother, brothers, sisters, etc. Good or bad, we are FAMILY.

Jesus said, “Ye must be BORN AGAIN” in John chapter 3. This is not being reborn humanly speaking, but being born into the FAMILY OF GOD, spiritually. “God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”. John 4.
My human birth was not by my choice, but my “Spiritual Birth” is only by My choice.

There’s the rub, every person must CHOOSE this for themselves, you were born into a human family, not God’s family. That’s basically what the Bible and Christians are trying to tell everyone, until you choose Jesus Christ, you are not in the FAMILY. But just like human families, in God’s family sometimes some of the family members do not live in a manner that they should, but they are still family. God chastens His own disobedient family members. Heb 12.

The question you have to consider is: Am I in God’s family? If no, then how do I get in? You see, you don’t have to do a thing to remain outside the family. You can be the most religious, loving, caring, helpful, compassionate, generous, GOOD, intelligent, dedicated, etc. etc person to ever live, yet when you stand before Jesus in that day, Jesus will say “I never knew you: depart from me…” Matt. 7:23. Also John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”.

It’s not that we know about God or Jesus, it’s does Jesus KNOW ME? Being “born again” or “born from above” as Billy Graham likes to say it, is when we introduce ourselves to Jesus HIS WAY. It’s His family and to come to Him our way (religion?) doesn’t work. His way is by: repentance of sins, and belief that when Jesus died on that cross, He took all of my sins on Himself and paid the debt I owe to God and I accept His sacrifice for me for myself. We must believe by faith what the Bible teaches about God and Jesus and salvation through HIM. Even if we don’t understand or agree, we accept by faith that God has a reason for everything, that God is RIGHTEOUS in all His dealings with mankind through out all of history. Rather then question, we accept and believe by faith. One way to define faith is: “Seeing through God’s eyes”. Understanding usually follows believing.

We need to have this attitude concerning things we question: “Lord, I believe…help thou my unbelief.” Mark 9:24. As a family member for more then forty years, I still do not always understand why God worked a certain way or why He allows things to happen the way they do, but I believe that God knows what’s best and is accomplishing His plan and purposes. Sometimes I wish it was different, but I accept that God is somehow offering His salvation to each individual in such a way that all will “be without excuse” before Him. I don’t know how but I believe that God “is not willing that any perish, but that all will come to repentance

I would like to reply to some more of your initial post in the areas of religion and choice, but this reply is very long so I will post it and reply to your other questions later.

Seems to me like heaven is a V.I.P only club. Only Christians get in. Then why do other religions exist. if god loves us why would he let those other religions form. U can say that god is to big to understand but that makes no difference Love is when you don't care what a person has done you just love them anyway. It kind of disturbs me to think that only Christians get saved and everyone else is screwed. don't say we had a choice either, we never had a choice. God knew what we were going to choose before we were offered the choice. so why bother.

Many Christians say that only Christians get to heaven, but actually the Bible does not say this anywhere.

Many verses are quoted in support of this view, but when you look at them, they do not say only Christians go to heaven, and that all other faiths are necessarily damned.

Therefore, this is a fallacy. It is a commonly believed fallacy, but it is still a fallacy, and has no basis whatever in Scripture.
