When Jesus appeared in his spirit body, Thomas was allowed to touch and put his hands in Jesus side, it probably felt squishy, but there was no blood, this squishy material is biological and organic, similar to flesh, but a different type of flesh that didn't bleed and could materialize and dematerialize at will, but their could be creatures in heaven that are made of this same kind of special spirit flesh, that could carry people through space and go underwater, maybe that's their technology?

He was not a spirit meaning he was in a physical body, and it was touched and the reaction showed that it felt like a normal body insomuch that just touching Christ made Thomas believe Christ was really there.

It felt like what a body feels like. That's why Thomas was comforted. There was nothing new or strange about how Christ looked or felt.

The body was a glorified body, but still flesh and bone etc like the non-glorified body.

It is not translucent. It looks visually like a normal human body but you are correct it is a different kind of flesh.

Because they were healed but intentionally kept them for identification purposes. It wouldn't have been very good if he was bleeding the whole time. The new glorified body is uninjured except in this one case and they were the evidences of past injuries not any existing ones.
