God could have created other things not created in His image. He created Angels.

I am not watching a YouTube video for the rest. If you will talk/write I will listen. Random YouTube videos, not so much.

Do not restrict yourself when seeking Truth. There are many Christian scholars who have asked and researched these very questions that you have. Do not be so quick to shy those sources away. Check out the videos. They are filled with so much knowledge and have so much more explanations to your questions than we can answer here.

Satan uses these "aliens" to attempt to confuse us. Just as angels have presented themselves to Abraham so can the fallen angels present themselves to us in a physical form. However, those who have Christ within can see past the enemies schemes.

I am essentially agnostic about sentient beings on or from other planets in this universe. It is possible, I suppose. The thing that occurs to me, is that God is one. "Hear oh Israel, the Lord, your God is one". He described Himself as "I AM", that is the essence of being, itself. The creator of everything from nothing. So these "aliens" would also be flesh and blood creatures of God. Of the most interest to me, if we ever do actually encounter such a being, and are given the means of communication through some medium, would be, did their civilsation fall, (as ours did with the sin of Adam), and did the Son, then, need to be born among then for their redemption. Or did they continue to live eternal lives in bliss without ever suffering the penalties of a fall, (death, sorrow, illness.....etc.)? That is what would interest me about alien cultures. How God, (who could only be the same one, whatever they called Him), looks to them. Fascinating stuff, but not high on my priority of thought list. Fun poll idea though. I'll read the rest of the thread responses.

I read a trio of C.S. Lewis novels once about a guy who travels in space FROM earth, and finds such a people on another planet, and these creatures had NOT fallen. They were still in the pristine state that God had created them to be. They didn't have death, or illness, or sorrow and any of that. It's been a long time, but if I remember correctly, the Earth visitor brought about a fall of sorts by introducing murder, but the Son immediately, (or close to immediately ) redeemed and forgave them, via different means then we humans needed, since their fall was so brief, and just happened to occur at the time which for us on Earth would be referred to as the 2nd coming. The perousia. So these beings were simply returned to glory, while the human still had to face a judgement. Man, I wish I could remember more. I want to read these again. It's been so many years, and they were great books. Oh well, off to Amazon.

Well, in the bible it says Satan appears as an angel of light and his demons ministers of righteousness. So, we know that Satan can appear as other things, and we know the name of Jesus has power over demons. If the name of Jesus stops alien abduction experiences then we know where they are coming from.

You are right. There are several references in the Bible of Holy Angels abducting people. One of my favorite is this one.

Acts 12:
6 And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.

7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

8 And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.

9 And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.

10 When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.

11 And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

Can you imagine that happening today? Peter was abducted right out of his prison cell and the guards did not even see it.

When you think about what happened during Lord Jesus' wilderness experience, we can see Satan abducting Him.

Matthew 4:
5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Jesus was in the wilderness, how did He get to the pinnacle of the temple?

How did Lord Jesus get to the top of that high mountain? was it Everest?

I appreciate your call for discernment, brother. There are a lot of false teachings swirling around these kind of things. From a biblical standpoint, and from my own experience, Satans power is no joke. With Job, he had such control over men that he was able to coordinate raids from different people groups simultaneously, and even brought the power of nature to bear against Jobs children. He was able to destroy Jobs body with boils. In Pharohs court, he was able to duplicate some of the miracles that God was doing. He deceives the whole world, and in the time of the end, his false messiah and false prophet will fool the whole world with "all power, signs and lying wonders". He will bring fire down from heaven and cause the idol of the antichrist to speak and to kill men.

In my own experience, I have seen his power to deceive through signs and supernatural experiences first hand. I've seen his power physically heal people and cause people to get sick. I've witnessed evil spirits indwell people while their spirit went somewhere else. I've seen him convince people they are God and Jesus, and all manner of other things, like prophets and even the two witnesses in revelation, through lying signs and wonders. To me, making people think they are being abducted by aliens would be a fairly minor demonstration of what he is capable of.

I know his power to deceive, to practically mold your entire being to believe his lies; the alien visitation thing is just another deception in his bag of tricks. He has been backing up that deception with supernatural experiences, especially in these last days. However, we have reports of the same kind of abductions and torturous experiences going back hundreds or even thousands of years; in those days they didn't pretend to be aliens but appeared as demons and bizarre entities. I think skepticism is healthy but in my life the evidence is overwhelming, and I think the scripture supports it in general if not specifically.

Satan was the highest angel.

If God does not see a reason to tell me if aliens exist in the Bible, then I'm not worried about it.

If you want to put a bunch of videos and ideas in your mind, go ahead. But think about this, satan most often tries to get to us through our thoughts and through what we see (like tv's sexual situations) so if you want to put all that crap in your head, go for it. But I'm not.

There is a verse talking about how satan and his people want to appear as angels of light and/or Christians. Do not be decieved.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15
"For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.

Also, God warns us in His Word, but not everyone has the discernment to see who past the enemies schemes. That post is misleading. Christ warns us in His Word. Don't think that you will discern, stay away from that stuff.

Show a little more discernment. You are popping up videos about aliens being driven out by the name of Jesus because it happened in one video? Satan loves a believer who thinks they know everything.

What if you lead someone astray with doing this? What does God say about that?

I've always had somewhat of a interest in the UFO phenomenon. Most sightings can be explained as mundane occurrences, a few are likely secret military technology (stealth bombers were often reported as UFO's), and a tiny segment of them are as of yet unexplained. I've actually seen one myself, many years ago. It was quite unbelievable, and I don't know what it was.

The most inexplicable sightings are interesting in a number of ways. First, many of the craft seem to do maneuvers that violate the laws of physics. They have been reported to pass through the surface of the ocean without having any affect on the water at all. Many have simply appeared and vanished without a trace. They are seemingly translucent and immaterial, like ghosts. If even a fraction of these reported cases are legitimate, it appears we are dealing with an interdimensional/spiritual phenomenon. Then you have the alien abduction pheonomenon, which is eerily similar to ancient tales of demonic interaction and oppression.

I think there is a possibility that some of this phenomena is demonic. Demonic powers disguise themselves in ways which register to the time and place they are interacting with. This is the high-tech space age, what better disguise to take on than aliens? We have stories throughout history of human encounters with everything from trolls to fairies to hooded men in dark robes, all behaving in odd and seemingly impossible ways. Perhaps demonic entities interact with man under different guises throughout the ages, intending to both frighten and deceive human beings.

I Believe that there is most certainly a possibility of their existence.

You ask how,or why.

A better question to ask yourself is,"Why not?"

God never said we were the only Beings He's made in all that is existence.

He did however say (or at least imply) that us humans are His only Creation made in His image.

There may be,there may not be.

But that's for Him to know and for us to hopefully,one day,find out.

Don't just throw it out the window as "illogical".

How,in a world where you believe that God exists and has created all you see and is supposedly capable of "anything",how is His power suddenly limited to our imagination?

Satan healing? Something about that doesn't sit well with me.The Pharisee's thought the Lord was casting out and doing His healing with the power of beelzebub.Which is blasphemy to accuse of The Holy One of God of.And attributing healing to the evil one is offensive.
I wonder about these things of course(aliens). I watched ancient aliens before. People these days want to believe they come from aliens these days, denying the Creator that created them.If anything this ancient astronaut theory leads away from Christ Jesus and to me that is an indicator of something being wrong. And these theorists are setting up folks to worship the creation rather than the Creator. In effect making themselves gods thats a good way to bring back the idea the Enemy had tempted Eve with in the Garden of Eden.
I am unsettled about the abduction cases some may be legit others may not be. Hearing how frightened and the horrible things they went through has me thinking if these aliens do exist then they are on the side of evil thats for sure. If they exist then they do ifthey don't then they don't. But I am neither here nor there.
