But chipmunks, man-they're crafty. You remember the escapades of Disney's Chip and Dale, don't you? Chip was always dreaming up schemes to make Donald Duck's life miserable.

The cat seemed to be carrying the chipmunk like a kitten.

A lot of (well-fed) cats aren't really in it for the kill and seem quite sorry when the game ends in the death of their toy.
