yeah it's one of those situations where no one thinks they have an accent. Unless it's really strong...but they sound natural. I would love to hear if you have an accent Keri

Oh no, not the Welsh accent!

It's really hit and miss for me. Sometimes it's really nice, sometimes it's awful lol.

I can't imagine myself losing my accent if I were to live abroad. I plan to move abroad eventually, so we'll find out eventually!

Thankfully hers is a mix of Welsh accents. Her parents are heavy valley accents! I live in mid-Wales so there's the really sing-song version here.

The only accent though that I haven't been able to grasp onto is the Scouse accent...

As for losing your accent. I don't think people ever truly lose it unless they aim to and practice. But with time you do pick up new inflections. Mix that with new words, slang, phrases and you do start to sound a bit different.
