Who will go on to be the best game character ever? I'll make a bracket of the ones that make it through. They only make it through if they have 3 or more votes.

You know it's gotta be Gordan Freeman. Even if he's just carrying around a crowbar he's taking those aliens out. Plus I think I've played half-life 1/2 more than any of those other games... combined!

And as far as who these people are, they are characters from various video games. Hence Video Game Character playoffs.

I think this contest was intention for more a modern times created, mainly FPS, character vote off. No oldbies allowed.

I must admit that I don't know most of these characters either. Only ones I recognize are Sam Fischer and Master Chief.

What about Hero from Fable? He could do a bit of damage also.

Okay, I know Doom Marine is from Doom, Gordon Freeman from Half Life, Painkiller (forget name) is from Painkiller, Master Cheif is Halo, Theif from Theif, Solid Snake from Metal Gear, and Sam from Splinter Cell. The rest I dunno.
