I am very interested in Reformed theology, mostly because there is a whole wing of my family that belongs to the "Protestant Reformed Church," a Dutch Calvinist denomination in West Michigan (Dutch immigrant territory) and elsewhere.
I understand that Reformed theology teaches the doctrine of predestination -- that God has preordained that he would render infinite and eternal penalties of suffering upon certain sinners. Is this an accurate statement of the doctrine of predestination?
I was just wondering what evidence you have to believe such things about God's way of responding to humanity?
My cousins aren't so good at apologetics, so I like to come to good sources!
Merci Beaucoup!
