Very depressed

Have had you know what kind of thoughts. I miss my dad and mom so much who died. My bird may die. I have nothing going on in my life that is worth anything except Cf. But in real life nothings happening and I don't have the energy to make it happen at this time. I've sunk into one of my pitts. Help.

What I do is pray.

I have been in depression for about 3 years.

I'm going to see the psychiatrist tommorow.

Hopefully I will get my prescription of Valium renewed.

Hang in there Ruth. Go see your doctor and remember - Life has ups and downs, and right now you are experiencing a down part. Life will get better, and with proper help, you will be happy again. What kind of bird do you have?

I love parakeets. Although I think my little kitty would like them too. I am also feeling depressed right now, I have a lot of stress at work, and am feeling homesick. It is easier to get through it when you have people who care. I sincerely care that you get better, so promise me to go see someone, perhaps a counselor, or doctor. This is totally beatable!

I'm not as bad as I was the other day when I first posted this thread. Still sad but it's now bearable. I fall into the pit sometimes and it's an awful place to be. Thank you everyone for replying and being so kind and helpful.

Hi, I've been in that pit a few times myself. When I'm there I realize I'm having a bad day, but what helps me the most is to know that tomorrow is a brand new day and my world will look a lot brighter!

I can totally relate to you, I got nothing going for me, and I been feeling bad about a few things, Im sorry it's sad being in such a dark place. I get mad at GOD because it seems darkness surronds so many people even christians.
