I love it, it's so addictive, and definitely one of my favourite shows. Veronica is a great character. If only it would show at a decent time here (it currently shows anytime between 10:30pm and midnight on a Friday night, after ages of being moved to different timeslots and taken off completely).

I'm posting in this thread because I believe in expressing my love for this show wherever I go. Season 1 was the best season of television I've ever seen. Season 2 was a little weak, but I feel like the current season is really getting back on track.

One downside of getting into this show is that I'm now totally spoiled for acting. I just can't watch a show with mediocre acting anymore, no matter how good I think the writing is (I'm looking at you, Heroes!).

I also like the way the current season is going (and not long until the next episode, yay!) I love a good season long story arc, but in some shows (The X-Files for example), they tend to drag a bit. I think it was a good decision for Veronica Mars to have mini-arcs this season.

While I also agree that the quality of acting on VM is fantastic, I feel the need to jump to the defense of Heroes. I don't have any problem with the acting, but to each their own :) May I ask, do you feel the performances of the entire cast are lacking, or one actor in particular?

God Bless.

Well, none of them are outstanding, but I think the guys who play Mohinder and Peter are particularly grating for some reason (maybe in Peter's case it's because I've been watching season 2 of Gilmore Girls). I have to confess that I am still about 4 episodes behind on the show, so maybe they've gotten better. I think the girl who plays Claire is pretty good, but her father is pretty unconvincing. I keep expecting him to try to sell me a mutual fund.

In fairness, it's all probably better than average for TV, and I probably wouldn't mind it at all if I hadn't gotten so used to being blown away every time Logan and Veronica were on screen at the same time (or most of the rest of the VM cast, for that matter). I agree that Heroes is actually a pretty good show, which is why I think VM has turned me into a bit of a snob! :)

Regarding the latest episode, did anyone else think that Veronica went a bit far with the car thing (getting Weevil to steal it with the intention of crushing it)? I'm trying to remember if she has gone that far in any other episodes. I know that she's turned a blind eye to illegal activities that Weevil and others engage in, and has done some questionable things to solve cases, but I was surprised by the car thing. I know Madison is horrid, and that Veronica is hurting over the Logan and Madison thing, but still, IMHO there's no excuse for what she did (even though she didn't go through with destroying it, stealing it was bad enough).

What did everyone else think of that? It was a good episode otherwise. I love the way that Veronica got into Tim's office, that was hilarious! Something like "I'm supposed to meet my brother here at his office, but he's not even my brother anyway, because I just found out that I'm adopted! *sob*" :)
