That's not why it's the ghetto.

A couple of blocks from here, there used to be a problem with shootings. (and you won't catch me walking far in the dark by myself) I don't think there's been a murder on that street in awhile, though. But I so know that this is Green Bay ghetto level and nothing like LA or Chicago.

I woke up at 6... I wasn't able to sleep/get sleepy until 2. Thats like only FOUR hours of sleep! So yeah, I feel a little out-of-it today. And for some reason I kept calling school church. "Hey, mom, what if I'm late for church." "I need new pencils for church."

Vent ~ I hate it when you want to do something for someone but dunno how to do it exactly without it being weird but do it in a kind sort of gentleman way

I am annoyed by that, that we have to limit how we show love to others because it may be "taken the wrong way".

Also annoying- I just don't understand how men treat women sometimes...Not a direct bash, but yeah- so completely jaded by that right now.

That one is so, so frustrating. To this day, there's a woman on leadership at church who gives me a cool shoulder (a degree or two warmer than a cold shoulder) because someone else took her kindness the wrong way.

My vent? Few things make me want to scream as much as seeing another guy who's been here in the city all of 2 or 3 weeks practically best friends with everyone already... while I'm still trying to get beyond small talk. Bamn, it sucks being an introvert sometimes.

My vent:

So today my co-worker disagreed with a choice I made because she "remembers something about that and thinks you're wrong." but she doesn't know what she is trying to remember and then she tells me to take care of the *imaginary* problem SHE created. So I refuse. Tell her that she needs to answer her own questions and she gets offended because I didn't fall in line with her plan.

Sheesh. Save me from diva co-workers. And all this after I offer to help her move a desk she wants out of her office and she tells me that no way is she going to move a desk, that someone else can take care of that.

You know what I can't stand, having to make decisions that you KNOW are a bad idea but not really having alternate options to choose from. It's like willingly making a choice to make a huge mistake that someday you will need to fix. No matter what the circumstances around it or lack of options you can't really make those excuses because you knowingly put yourself in that position.

I really wish I could have more than just 2 day's worth of training at work. It just stresses me out when I go in and am expected to be efficient when I have barely any idea as to what I'm doing. >______>

I wish that people would actually decide to give me a chance for once in my life instead of just blowing me off, as per normal, AS PER JUST HAPPENED, and then have all the girls that'll never ever go out with me (e.g. already taken) tell me how wonderful I am and that I'll get a break eventually, because it sure ain't coming from them so they don't know it will. And then the single ladies who won't go out with me even tho they're single SAYING THE SAME THING.
ARGH.
