  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I do eat meat, but I am what you could call a partial vegetarian. I just don't stick to it all the time. Sometimes I am very hungry for meat, or poultry, or eggs, milk, etc. Anyway, about 75% of my week, I am eating vegetables, fruits, nuts, legumes, etc. Then, like I said, my body craves meat, poultry, or fish, and I feed it. ;)

Are you a vegetarian, and for how long?

I'm a meat eater here.....I don't eat much of the red meats. Mostly I'll eat chicken, turkey and fish.

I almost wish I could discipline myself to be a vegetarian. Atleast for a little bit. I imagine its a healthy thing to do

We're vegetarian - not vegan (we eat dairy)

My reaons are basically "diet for a small planet" type of values. I don't think a meat based diet is a good use of our resources. Secondary to that concern is health-I don't believe meat of any kind to be very healthy for us. Third, I think mass production of meat (and most dairy) is cruel to the animals used. Oh.. and one more thing.. meat is EXPENSIVE!!

We don't use a lot of dairy but the dairy we eat is almost always small farm organic. (As is our produce)

I am a newbie to vegetarianism. I choose vegetaranism for wellness after experiencieng a number of illnesses. I started with the elimination of red meat which was really easy. I never thought that I would be able to leave a cheeseburger....however after almost 2 years-I am a proud vegetarian who dabbles with raw food from time to time. As a result, I have't had a cold or flu and I feel great. It is a process. And I do not preach the diet change to others; it is a personal choice.

I sometimes feel sick on my stomache after eating meat. I've slacked off a lot. In fact, we didn't have meat for supper tonight. It's the first time in a VERY long time! I did stick some cream of chicken in my squash casserole, though. My hubby & son love meat so there's no way we'd be veggers.
