Only that I have a friend who was personally threatened multiple times by straight-edgers. The situation was serious enough to warrant the police getting involved.

It seems everytime I try meat again I read in the news about another meat factory being accused of animal abuse. Abuses that make me sick to my stomach to even talk about. It sure keeps me away from the meat isle.

Love those pants! Just be careful when you first stop eating meat that you don't increase your sweets intake. It's very easy to do. My advice is to get a good vegetarian cookbook that sticks with ingredients that most people keep in their kitchens some of the vegie cookbooks can get pretty wild in specialty ingredients and there is really no need for that unless you feel like it and sometimes we all do and also read up on vegie nutrition, I think that's where a lot of people make their mistake is not understanding the diet of a vegie. That's my 2 cents worth, god bless, let us know how it is going.

Just want to add that because of your age you might want to tell your parents what you are doing to assure them you are doing it responsibly and will still be getting all the nutrients a young body of 14 needs. Take a look on the internet for things that you can sub for meat to get your protein and amino acids such as beans, lentels, nuts, maybe try some tofu. Maybe your family will help out and agree to a vegie meal a few times a week, that might be fun to get everyone involved.

Once you're away from it,say 6-9 months you become very aware of the way most meats,processed especially make you feel. I still once in awhile eat fish but it's fresh,and I catch it myself. Red meat is out of my diet as is any type of fowl.I do better mentally without this stuff in my system. I still like cheese but just once in awhile.Say once a month.
