Would you say the Christian comment about eating meat not being right is false.

It reminds me of a comment where it said sexual love is not evil per se but at least implied it was base compared to agape love.

I think it can be unethical to support certain practices where animals are mistreated, but I see no grounds to say that it wrong in general to eat meat, especially considering that there are instances where God commanded His people to do so. It seems to me that the other kinds of love are in regard to specific kinds of relationships, but that they are all inclusive of agape love.

Are things like bestiality and animal sacrifices wrong just due to perversion and ungodly spirituality being wrong, or also because they are acts of animal abuse?

We were talking about eating meat, weren't we? Have we settled that?

It seems to me he meant that it wasn't right, not that it was sinful.

Would you say animal cruelty is a sin? I was having OCD-if people killing shellfish (who die horribly) and sport hunting are okay (What does the Bible say about Christians hunting animals for sport?), what bibically makes what people are arrested for sinful?

I assume part of the reason bestiality and sacrifices not done to God are sinful is due to it being cruel.

But on a serious note, Richard or Vegain Gains is an atheist and he is a vegan because he is against the suffering of animals, how they are killed, tortured etc.

Is it wrong to kill spiders or step on bugs?

We should make a distinction, however, between ridding one’s home of pests and simply killing spiders and insects for no good reason. God has a purpose for “every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth” (Genesis 1:26, KJV). The spiders and insects are God’s creation, and He owns them: “I know every bird in the mountains, and the insects in the fields are mine” (Psalm 50:11). To treat any of God’s creatures, no matter how small, with wanton cruelty is sin. Focusing a magnifying glass on an ant hill just to see the ants suffer, sprinkling salt on a garden slug just to see it writhe, purposely stepping on any type of bug on the sidewalk just for the morbid satisfaction of it—these are not the actions of a God-fearing person.
