Vegetarianism and Seventh Day Adventism.

I have super great friends who have 2 diabetic children. they are sda and strict vegan. i do not know what kind of insulin they use, but i am sure that if it was bad in anyway, they would find another kind. I wouldnt get to worked up over it. I totally agree to stay away from any and all swine products!!!!! But, if you are using something and to your knowledge you dont know that it has swine in it. God will wink at that. He wont condemn you for that. Just do the best research that you kind and try to find out what you can. That is all you can do. As for medicine with it in there...well, medicine in general is not that great for us (in my opinion). Even the vaccinations that people give there children has horrible stuff in it! Monkey type stuff!! Ask honor!! we just have to educate ourselves and make decisions with what we find out.

I don't know why this popped into my head, but it did. I don't want to ingest anything from the swine family, but would medicine be excluded?

On the serious side Sassy--which type of diabetes do u have? If it's type 2--then thru diet and exercise--you can stop taking insulin. Dr. John McDougall has gotten thousands off insulin by this method. Go to his web site and read about it!!!
