I would say that God knew about Vantablack even before man had found out it's properties
in 2014.

I think the Ten Plagues of Egypt - as narrated in the text of Exodus - are fiction, though quite possibly inspired by disasters that could happen. It is at least remarkable that no Pharaoh is ever named in Exodus, though more than one is referred to. I think the whole Exodus-story is a tissue of patriotic theological fictions, by more than one author.
