Van Helsing on DVD

I didn't see Van Helsing at the theater, but picked up the DVD last night. I know it got terrible reviews, but I enjoyed it. It's doesn't have a complex plot. Isn't theologically accurate, and doesn't immerse you in the characters like a drama, but it's a fun watch none the less.

I thought it was a good movie. They turn this country doctor (Van Helsing) into a monster hunter.

Yeah it's a pretty good flick. If you don't buy it expecting a vampire/gothic masterpeice then it's worth the money, IMO.
I loved the look of the werewolves in Van Helsing. Nicely done.

I watched Underworld tonight and didn't enjoy it near as much. Similar ideas but Van Helsing seemed to do it a whole lot better.

I was so-so, pretty predictable but I do like Hugh Jackman.

I thought Van Helsing is a great movie, I'd rather watch it in the theatres instead of my TV though! lol
