Valentine's Day!

Fellow teens what are your plans for V Day this yr? Idk our exact plans but I'm pretty excited! My boyfriend just says to dress up. I'm getting a manicure & my brows done this afternoon. I'm so excited about giving him his gift. What's the best gift you've gotten & given for V Day? Do you guys have lovegrams at school & do girls get roses? I've always gotten lovegrams from friends but this was my 1st yr getting roses delivered to me at school. My parents have given me roses before but that's not as romantic, lol.

Actually we can also deliver roses at school, but usually only the teachers receive one (from an "anonymous" student of course) So, the day is never really romantic! Well my Valentine's is just going to be an another day at the moutain, as I am currently in holidays to ski. It is going to be fun! No boyfriend but my little brother who is learning how to ski.. and my sister and I have to teach him... This is already a lot to do

Aw, your boyfriend sounds like a keeper, Butterfly! I hope you had a magical Valentine's Day with him.

Things got really hot and steamy with my boyfriend on Valentine's this year. We ran the LA Marathon during a winter heat wave. It was incredibly challenging but very fulfilling as well, and crossing the finish line by our goal times was one of the most elating experiences of our lives. Afterwards we went to the beach to cool off and then soak up the sun. Then we had massages, and went back to my mom's house. We just had pizza, watched movies, and tried to move as little as possible because we were sore head to toe, haha.

This was the gift he gave me this year. It's a vintage banjo I swooned over when I saw it in the window of a little shop. I wanted to play with it but the shop was closed. He went back the next day and bought it.

I love Valentine's Day in high school, too. We didn't have love grams but we always had heart-shaped cookies and cupcakes, and gift deliveries. The best gift I ever gave for Valentine's was a song I wrote for him for our first year together.

I'm homeschooled, so I personally can't tell if the local schools have lovegrams.

I just stayed at home, drew, and ate chocolate. It was too nasty to go outside.
