Is anyone going a Valentine's party/banquet for Friday the 13th or tomorrow, Valentine's Day?

Well, I have one for tonight at our church down here in Texas.

I did vent about not having a date but I have decided to go and celebrate with my friends, most who are single. Does anyone not have a date for party/banquet this weekend. Sometimes it is easy to fall into that desire to have a date for this occasion. When it is over, one can laugh because they were there to celebrate with others. As for the date, its their loss. I am not saying this to be mean spirited. I think many singles prefer it this way. I just cannot change the hearts of some Christian singles. Not everyone wants be around someone who is cold hearted and strongly judgemental. I was that way once and I changed for something better.

Well, time is ticking and I am ready for a Valentine banquet. Hopefully, this one will go well. Make it a happy Valentine's Day or not. The choice is yours.

What will Valentine's Day bring for you? Date or no date. Banquet or not. Let me hear from you.

Making it a Happy Valentine.

It's not a banquet, but the swing dance group in Nashville is putting on a Valentine's Ball on Saturday. This is the kind of thing where most people do not bring dates, so it doesn't bother me at all to go alone.
