  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I'm heading out on vacation. Going to my timeshare in VA. I don't think I'll have any computer access. So that's why I'll disappear Friday ...

Lots of golf, some concerts, good food, hiking along the Skylight Drive. Maybe I'll even take in a craft class!

I'm so ready for this, last vacation was last Aug. That's too many weeks of work in a row!

I'll miss reading the posts here.

Back from vacation ... it was a relaxing time. GF and I had a good time. Lots of golf, a concert, some classes and watching all the deer that have seen so many humans that they are no longer scared of them. the young fawns were soooo cute! a lot of ground hogs around too. Guess that means there are no cyotes around! Weather was very good as well.

A pool has got to be like heaven where you live. Here the people that have a pool are lucky if they can use it 3 months of the year.

Well last year I didn't use it much so...but I have this year, and it is nice, except for times like now when I have a leak in a pipe and no money to fix it and looking for an easy fix or better yet someone to help me. It's times like these I really hate being single.

I'm sure there its frustrating to be short on cash and short on an understanding of an easy way to fix something. That's one nice thing about me growing up on a farm and my father saying go do this or that. He almost never gave instruction on how to do the work either. So I learned by the time I got out of HS how to do many things. But more so that I could most likely figure it out.

I'd say ask one of the retired guys at church if they could help you for an hour or two and I bet one of them could fix it for almost nothing.
