Pornography doesn't belong in public schools.
Yet again, not pornography or it would be illegal.
Do you think these exclamations make your opinion stronger or something? Whatever. Toddles.End of discussion.

That's nice. Good thing no one is trying to get the shelves stocked with playboy. Not even for the articles.Voters overwhelmingly oppose sexually explicit books in public school libraries, and believe schools have an obligation to inform parents what their children are being taught.

Your claim was just a tiny majority is speaking out, when in fact it's a vast majority. That's going to get a lot bigger and more outspoken now that there's a new administration also saying 'no more'.That's nice. Good thing no one is trying to get the shelves stocked with playboy. I do not believe that to be true. I guess we will see what the future holds.Your claim was just a tiny majority is speaking out, when in fact it's a vast majority. That's going to get a lot bigger and more outspoken now that there's a new administration also saying 'no more'.
Your whole argument has been purely subjective, based entirely on what you choose to believe.I do not believe that to be true. I guess we will see what the future holds.
And I'm cute to. Anything elseyou want to tell me about myself? My favorite color? How I part my hair?Your whole argument has been purely subjective, based entirely on what you choose to believe.

Oh no. I wasn't referring to that book. I was referring to pictures of me or my brothers in the bathtub. My mistake! To be blunt you are 100% wrong. You can google the picture.
As I have repeatedly stated I can’t post the pictures here without being permabanned
Facts are fine. Ideologies are not. I was rather unhinged in that post, I admit. My apologies.Nope. Not just an agenda. It is real people who have suffered real oppression and face real challenges in the world. Challenges such as people attempting to label their fight for freedom as an "agenda" in order to minimize and attempt to suppress them.
I don't care about your opinion, I care about facts. I see no facts supporting the idea it functions as a cult.
Yes. You have already declared you will not look at the opposing viewpoint. No need to keep reiterating it.
All good RileyG. You've shown yourself to be someone worthwhile to interact with. Have a good one.Facts are fine. Ideologies are not. I was rather unhinged in that post, I admit. My apologies.

The article I posted supports it in my opinion. You're free to disagree. I really don't understand some people's desire for kids to be immersed in transgenderism sexuality. It's really disturbing. Please support that it is a vast majority, I don't see it. Instead, I see a handful of states that allow parents to challenge books, and all of them have their state government completely controlled by Republicans. You'd think if it was a vast majority, you'd at least see this type of things going on in swing states, not just Utah and Florida.

The main issue regarding certain books in school is connected with teaching kids transsexuality. As in teaching them they can be a whole slew of genders and sexual orientations, like "genderfluid pansexual" which is being pushed by the woke agenda. Most parents don't want that in schools. Which should be easy enough to understand and accept. I'm talking about the broad scope of those involved and weighing in, not you personally or any particular ordinary individual.I've stayed out of the discussion, I'm not on either "side." Yes, I think books in a school library should be appropriate for the age; OTOH, I do think there needs to be a better way of evaluating them then merely having parents (and typically extremist parents) making complaints about books they don't like. Nor does this issue have anything to do with transsexualism, nor should it have anything to do with homosexuality -- as if something that is heterosexual is less "obscene" than something that is homosexual, both should be viewed as equally wrong.

It's books like "All Boys Aren't Blue" and "Gender Queer" that are being disputed the most, coupled with what's being taught by teachers. I've heard a US Senator read excepts from those kinds of books during senate hearings, and I've heard and read a lot of testimony from parents about what their kids are being taught. I can't post it here because it violates CF obscenity rules. If you're really interested, it's easy to explore what's going on like I did.Odd, that isn't what anyone has complained about here -- the complaint has been about books that are "obscene." Books about "a slew of genders" has nothing to do with obscene books, even if you don't like it. Little Jimmy claiming his pronouns are "they/them" is not an obscenity and would not be banned under these school book laws.
