What if someone uses Jesus name against you for evil, what would happen, and what should you do?

I would tell them they aren't true believers. You must have clean hands and a clean heart to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

My friend now hates me for a while and he uses his christianity as a way of 'getting into the popular crowd' at my school. this is a little related. and it works... gaahh.

on the plus side he is getting REALLY BAD acne so maybe that is God getting him back so I dont feel completely alone. lol



I would just use scriptures to prove them wrong and maybe make them realize what they are doing is evil.

Bless those who curse you. Then pray. There are many prayers at our disposal. God wouldn't do anything to you if a person misuses His name for evil purposes. Don't be fooled.

Ex:
Prayer to the All-Holy Trinity
The Father is my hope; the Son is my refuge; the Holy Spirit is my protector. O All-holy Trinity, glory to thee.

The 'Jesus Prayer'
O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy upon me, a sinner.

The Trisagion Prayers

Nothing would happen besides our respective emotional reactions: I would be totally indifferent, he or she would probably be the same, considering the crowd I hand out with. I would dismiss his or her words as merely words, which are not sticks or stones.
