CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

All your answers are rather cool, but I must say white dove...I would have never of guessed
My name I chose because I am always searching for answers. Why wisdom rather than searchingAnswers? Because wisdom requires action as well...not just knowledge. Therefore, SearchingWisdom was a good fit.
And on that note: Never hesitate to correct me on something. I am constantly trying to become a better person. Sometimes, you can show me more love by correcting me (with love of course).

Oh, sweetie... "white dove" is not my real name... and my parents were never hippies (my father is actually former military, so... yeah, no.

I told the story behind my name in my intro post, but that was before CF was hacked and I lost all my posts.
Anyway, my name is based on the fact that when I was in the military and had a lot of solo time for reflection, I first really studied the Lord in earnest. So it is a homage to that initial discovery of what the Bible had to say.
