That's what I thought too. People get crazy ideas. If a woman says another woman is beautiful, that doesn't mean she is a lesbian. It is sad when people can't admire beauty for what it is without it being turned into something sexual.

But this isn't even what the study is claiming makes someone a lesbian or bisexual.

well they are saying "aroused". So I am thinking they are measuring heart-rate, blood-flow, pupil dilation, etc.

but just because you are "sexually aroused" doesn't mean you are attracted. I know this statement will leave some of you scratching your heads, but it is the truth. If you are asking whether our bodies involuntary respond to certain stimuli that leaves our brains confused if not horrified... it happens.

I don't think any scientist who values their reputation would say the following unless they had good reason to.

Scientists are humans, and all humans have beliefs, and agendas to push their beliefs. Conscious or subconscious.

Being a scientist is (and has always been) in the same realm as being a politician. There have been many frauds in scientific history, and their have been many mistakes.
I am not calling this person a fraud, I'm allowing this person to be simply mistaken.

But when you are a researching a political topic such as this one, there is an agenda.... there is always an agenda. One doesn't choose a specific area of science to research without wanting to prove something...

But you are saying hes wrong based off of your subjective experience, Hes saying you are wrong based off of numerous tests. Who do you think is more likely to be correct. We have your opinion vs an actual study.

Nobody is stopping him/her from doing his research. If he wants to follow it and see where it leads... he can go right ahead. But I don't have to accept the reality of it until I see real evidence of a reality.

This "lesbian" state could be as much a product of biological processes or cultural manipulation rather than actual attraction.
