Yes, it's heartening to see that the economy is powering ahead despite the trade conflicts. That indicates the underlying resilience of the economy and positives like tax cuts (with more probably on their way) certainly seem to be helping.

The economy is cyclical. The economy was very strong in 2005, but not as strong in 2009.

There are potential problems with neither Obama nor Trump being able to balance a federal budget. This may be a precursor to inflation. The price of homes has been rising faster than the CPI.

I think lowering the corporate tax rate is a big boon, in that it is encouraging businesses to locate here, not overseas.

There are many positive indicators for the economy at this time.

I will admit we probably cannot give Trump all the credit but, the business owners that I know some Factory owners are very pleased with Trump and just that fact alone seems to encourage them towards more growth which in turn as we know creates more jobs.

My brother is part owner of a large asphalt Roofing Factory. They are now opening more factories in more States and hiring more people.

He and his partners are 100% all in for Trump and that tells me something coming from a relative up close.
