Please pray for my older sister. She is 20 years old and is a major partier and drinker and smoker and i'm worried about her. She also is participating in sex before marriage. She's already been married and divorced to a Marine who beat her in North Carolina...now she lives with our dad (recently divorced my mom-well a year ago it was final but seems like just yesterday) who also has had abuse problems...he broke my arm when i was a baby cause he couldn't stop me from crying. I don't think he is hurting her physically but he's a bad influence on her and the other kids. Just please pray for both of them. They are both believers it's just that their lives don't show it. Pray that they both turn toward God's light more everyday. thankyou.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
