  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Please pray for my family. My daughter and grandson are moving back to our home state tomorrow. She has no job, no money and no transportation once she gets there. My other daughter doesn't know what she wants to do. I don't know what I want to do. My husband has to be in Pa. by Tuesday to see his probation officers. We don't know whether they will violate him and send him to prison or if they are going to try to make him stay in Pa. to finish his probation. If he doesn't go to prison my husband plans on just leaving the state of Pa and coming back to Fl. Probation will put out a warrant for his arrest. I don't know whether to just move back to Pa and call it quits with my marriage or to stay here in Fl and wait for my husband. Please pray that I will make a good decision.
