Urgent Prayer Needed for Newborn

I ask all of you to pray for my friend this evening. She had to have an emergency C-section this afternoon. She was just a little over 7 months pregnant. The baby wasn't getting the correct blood supply and the dr's decided it would be best to go ahead and deliver her. She weighed 3 lbs 8 ounces. Please pray for mother and baby. It has been a rough day for both. Thank you!

Father God,

We lift up wvmtnkid's friend and her newborn baby to your gentle care and healing.  We ask that you keep the baby protected and safe, with your ministering hands all over the precious babe.  Lord, we ask that you give the doctor's continued wisdom in knowing how to help the babe, and also a gentle bedside manner to help ease the anxiety this new mother may be feeling.

We pray this in one accord Father, in the name of the Son,

Thanks everyone for praying. I was able to talk some with my friend this morning. She is still in a good deal of pain. Also, there was not very encouraging news on the baby. Her respiratory system and brain were not developed enough at this point in time. She is on a respirator. Please continue to hold this little one up in prayer. She already has a huge fight on her hands to just live.

An update:

The baby, Haylee, had to be taken to another hospital for surgery. She has a blockage in her stomach that wasn't allowing her to feed. Apparently, this blockage had been there during the whole pregnancy. It is a miracle in itself that this little one was even able to gain weight while in the womb. I think there are also some heart problems that have been discovered. Just please, keep praying for this little one. And for her mommy and daddy who already love this child with all of their hearts. Thank you!
