Yes it did, and it crashed my computer.

Hmm.. I don't know what happened there. If you just clicked "yes" to accept a download, that's correct. If not, it should have been optional. What did it say to you?

It didn't say anything. All of a sudden this little icon popped up on my task bar, and then my computer froze up.

Ah. That means your computer already had the software pre-loaded (presumably by the manufacturer) and your computer couldn't handle it for some reason and locked up. My page doesn't auto-install any software, you already had it but your PC didn't like it.

Are you running WindowsME? If so, change the security setting to low, restart your computer, and try the download again. If it still doesn't work, buy a Mac.
